Pre-launch sign-up: when you submit your email address to receive the free chapter and launch updates, we store that email address (with a timestamp and the form it came from) in order to notify you about the book and send you the material you requested. The data is recorded in a Google Sheet hosted by Google; Google acts as our data processor.
Email contact: if you email us, that correspondence is kept and treated as confidential.
No tracking: this site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics or behavioural tracking. The free chapter is delivered as a direct download, no account required.

Legal basis: your consent (sign-up) and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and communicating about the book. Retention: we keep sign-up data until the book has launched and for a reasonable period thereafter, or until you ask us to remove it.
